Prior to Blue Note (Est. 2015), Tom had 15 years of  full-cycle recruiting experience with established, Chicago search firms.  He's successfully placed over 400 professionals from an external search standpoint, covering nearly every industry segment.  This includes Public Accounting/CPA firms (local/smaller tier to the regional players to the Big 4), Financial Services (banking, fund services, hedge funds, specialized finance), Manufacturing/Distribution, Marketing Services, Pharma/Health, Consulting, Non-Profit, Education, Technology, Legal, Family Wealth Offices, Associations and others.

Tom began his career in audit with Price Waterhouse.  Subsequently, during the majority of the 90's, Tom was Co-Founder/President of a Telecom Services Company in the Chicago west suburbs, where he recruited and managed direct and indirect sales channels.  An Indiana University graduate, Tom was a Music Performance major before completing his degree in Accounting.  He's been active with SHRM, Financial Executives International, IU Alumni/Kelley Alumni Association, Metropolitan Club and others.  Tom lives in Chicago where he's an active gym-goer, swimmer, a college basketball/football enthusiast and musician-hobbyist
